PicLite decodes an image and creates a new file in the format you choose. Renaming a file extension alone does not convert it.
Choose JPG for photos when transparency is unnecessary; PNG for screenshots, text and transparent graphics; WebP when the receiving app accepts it; PDF to combine images into a document.
Raster exports keep the decoded image dimensions. PicLite does not offer resizing, vector conversion or animation export. AVIF decoding and WebP encoding depend on browser support.
Select or drop a supported file from your device. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or HEIC.
Pick the output format and adjust quality when available. JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF.
Convert the file in your browser and download the result.
Files are processed in your browser and are not sent to a conversion server.
Add multiple files and download the results together when the workflow supports it.
Choose a quality level for JPG and WebP, or use lossless PNG output.
Useful when a website, app, email or device accepts a different image format from the one you have.
PicLite redraws decoded pixels on a canvas and exports a new file. It does not copy the original EXIF or GPS metadata. Keep your original if you need camera settings or location data.
PicLite produces still images. It does not preserve an animated WebP sequence or export animated files; use a dedicated animation converter for that task.
Choose JPG for photos, PNG for screenshots, logos and anything with sharp text or transparency, and WebP when the receiving app or site accepts it and a smaller file helps.
